Difference between Cabinet air conditioners and Industrial Dehumidifiers
The difference between cabinet air conditioners and industrial dehumidifiers is that cabinet air conditioners remove sensible heat from indoor air and try to avoid the loss of heat and humidity as much as possible; while industrial dehumidifiers remove heat and humidity from indoor air and increase the sensible heat in the air, which can provide a more favorable dry environment for the power distribution room. Actual operation data show that the dehumidification function of cabinet air conditioners is only about 30% of that of industrial dehumidifiers.

Although cabinet air conditioning dehumidification will reduce the temperature and humidity of the entire power distribution room, it may also cause condensation in parts where condensation cannot occur. Industrial dehumidifiers will not reduce the indoor temperature of the power distribution room, but will only condense the water vapor in the air into crystal water inside the dehumidifier. In addition, the dehumidification capacity of cabinet air conditioners is small, the dehumidification process takes a long time, and cold air will be blown out, which will further reduce the indoor temperature. Not only does it consume a lot of electricity, it will also damage the compressor, thereby shortening the service life of the cabinet air conditioner.

At the same time, researches have shown that under the same conditions, the higher the temperature, the lower the adsorption capacity. From this point of view, the cooling effect of cabinet air conditioners on indoor air is beneficial to the dehumidification effect of dehumidifiers. Cabinet air conditioning equipment is basically installed in the distribution room, so in actual operation, air conditioning can be used to lower the air temperature at the inlet of the dehumidifier, thereby greatly improving the dehumidification effect of the dehumidifier.
